Update: came back a second time. Service time is about the same kinda slow, but so worth it. Sit down have a drink or two foods is on its way. Excellent. Got the seafood gumbo again, and the jambalaya, could not be more pleased. Good job guys.
Great atmosphere and polite staff. I have only been a half a dozen times but really enjoy this place. The Jambalaya is fantastic.
Small hole in the wall kind of feel..ordered the seafood gumbo, awesome! All the other plates I watched being brought out looked delicious. Will most definitely return

Unassuming outside but impressive restoration inside. Hot beignet with praline is awesome but only available on Saturdays. Good Atchafalaya stir fry & Jambalaya. Huge serving of each. Add Zydeco music & it's a cultural experience for downtown Billings!
First time in, I ordered something 'safe'. I had the Jambalaya. For the record, if you say you want it spicy, then you'll really get spicy. It was wonderful! Also tried the steams oysters which were pretty good, considering I'm not a fan of oysters as a whole. You order at a counter and the service people still managed to anticipate what I want...i.e. the food serving was too big and as I rose to ask for a container, the counter person came out with one before I could ask.
