Pretty good selection for a small local hardware store. Certainly easier to go here than driving all the way to the big box stores.
Most helpful people, outstanding customer service and all around great place to shop. They aren't kidding when they say, "Ace is the helpful place!" The people at the State Avenue location go above and beyond to help you. Thanks for the gold standard in customer service and keep up the phenomenal work!
I am the Maintenance Manager for a large organization in Billings. I look for good service and quality parts to maintain our buildings will. I tend to shop local if all possible and stay away from Big Box stores. This Ace Hardware is one of the best for customer service. I frequent the store almost five days a week and never once have I been able to sneak in and buy something without a hello or may I help you. Believe me I have tried to get by them. All the staff are helpful and knowledgeable about the product on the shelf. If they don't have it in the quantity that I need they have it within a few days. They are not always the best in price but by the time I run to the west end I have spent what I save in fuel. You will not go wrong with the State Avenue Ace Hardware.
