I didn't mind in the slightest because they were determined to help me out, since obviously the dealer wouldn't, and I think it was a 'fun' challenge for them to try to figure out what was wrong with my pickup.
Fast repair service by knowledgeable technicians at reasonable prices. They will do their best to accommodate your time schedule and get your vehicle in and out quickly, with the work done correctly.
Thank you Staley's, you've got a customer for life now. :-)
They found it, called me, fixed it and now my pickup drives like it's brand new again, no trouble towing hills, or accelerating. I feel like my rig will last another 15 years...and if I have any other trouble with it, I'm taking it straight back to Staley's because I know they'll do the right thing and help me out, at (I might add) a very reasonable price too.
This review is for the Staley's downtown on 25th and 1st, but honestly as a whole, the entire company.
Helpful staff, reasonable prices, and they work quickly!
Edam's is a great place to buy tires and get work done on your vehicle. Their mechanics are knowledgeable and stand behind their work.
I have a 2001 GMC pickup, 2500HD that has 113,000 miles on it. About a year ago, I started having trouble pulling hills with my trailer. I took it to the GMC dealer here to to have the 100,000 mile tune up done on it, and they did a nice job with that, but the problem still persisted. I took it back a couple months later to see if they could pinpoint what was wrong, and 2 of the mechanics told me that my truck was 'old and tired, and I needed a new one'...yeah, because they have a whole ROW of new ones they'd love to sell me right? Well they lost a customer.
The best. I really like to shop around on prices, they beat everyone I called. Not just that, there is old and new school mechanics there, which make them well rounded in knowledge!
I took the pickup to Staley's downtown, and the guys there, especially Troy was SUPER to talk to, very friendly and helpful. Since my rig wasn't throwing any codes, it was a trial and error for 3 days for the mechanics there to pinpoint that my passenger catalytic converter was clogged and was causing the lack of horsepower pulling hills.
