I don't remember the last time I was so impressed with a hotel. From the wonderful front desk girl who checked me in, to the manager who was always walking around talking to the guests. I spent several mornings in the lobby enjoying coffee and the fireplace and watched the manger doing everything from cleaning to making sure everyone was happy. Room service was quick and food was wonderful. Took a shuttle to the airport and the driver was phenomenal. There are not enough good things that I can say about this hotel and everyone working there. Don't stay anywhere else!
I will begin by saying this a beautiful hotel in a convenient location. When checking in the staff was very pleasant and helpful and they had the most amazing deviled eggs out for the guests
Hotel atmosphere was nice (lobby, restaurant, bar area). Rooms just okay and nothing special. No fridges in the room. I didn't think the staff were very friendly or helpful. During our two day stay I was treated rudely by two different front desk staff members. However, the valet staff were exceptionally friendly. I don't think we'd stay at The Northern Hotel again.
Very helpful staff. My wife is in a wheelchair and the managers were very accommodating in ensuring we had everything we needed. One bad part was that the air-conditioning wasn't working in our room and we were there during the hottest part of summer.
Good looking hotel in downtown Billings. Rooms appointed with the basics. The mattress was a little soft for my tastes, but if you like sinking into a soft mattress, these beds are for you. View from hotel window looks out at the mountains as well as a train yard. Restaurant and diner attached to hotel were nice addition s and there is valet parking.
